I have had the pleasure to work with Cindy Eggebrecht at Bretford for the last 12 years. I am also proud to say that I was the one that hired her.  We have worked closely together over the past years and I feel I know her as well as anyone.

When Bretford made the tough decision to stop manufacturing furniture, Cindy was the first person I was concerned about. Cindy was the driving force behind our strategy and communication of the EDU 2.0, MOTIV and Emoji product lines. She compiled and drove all of Bretford’s extensive research and marketing collateral. She has a vast knowledge of the industry and I truly believe she is one of the leading experts on High Performance Learning and Student Engagement. It's my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Cindy Eggebrecht. As Cindy's supervisor at Bretford, I have had the pleasure of working with one of the most knowledgeable people in our industry.

I also have had the experience of working with her from both the dealer and manufacturer side of our industry. On the dealer side, she and her team provided us the necessary resources to sell not only the Bretford product line, but position ourselves in the industry as knowledgeable on high impact learning environments with the white papers she developed. Cindy has been one of the first in the industry to provide people the support material necessary to speak with educators and A&D companies on how they can have an impact on helping children to learn in many different ways and how to engage teachers in the classroom.

Cindy and her team at Bretford have helped to present Bretford as the leader in the industry. From positioning many different forms of media (both print and videos) so that people can get a visual idea of what potential a learning area can be, to valid studies on the progress of student engagement.

Cindy has been instrumental with her relationships in the industry to develop focus groups, bringing together people to share ideas and help educate both the dealer base and the educational community.

Cindy's presentation skills have been responsible in securing business with our dealer base.  Her communication skills with internal and external employees have been one of the strongest assets in helping our sales force become on of the most respected in the industry with their ability to convey messaging on how Bretford integrates with the education process.

Cindy helped to develop a strong inside lead and sales team, helping our dealers secure more business for Bretford. The CRM system that she implemented helped us as a company to understand when and where our business was coming from so we could help implement programs to insure the success of our sales people and forecast for our factory.

Cindy helped to develop the Bretford brand with both educational institutions and A&D customers. While Bretford has always been a strong name in the market, Cindy and her team brought it to a new level as a leader of product innovation.

Cindy exemplifies the meaning of "leadership". She expects the best performance from those that work for her, and those that work for her are motivated to achieve this status.
