Dr. Chris Williams

Director

THINC College & Career Academy

It gives me great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Cindy Eggebrecht. Ms. Eggebrecht has been a tremendous business partner and friend to all of us here at THINC College & Career Academy.

From the business point of view, Ms. Eggebrecht's attention to detail and customer service has exceeded that of most vendors that I have worked with in my career. She has been an invaluable source and reference when we have had questions or concerns with product or just simply needed some professional advice. Ms. Eggebrecht has taken great interest in THINC Academy's success and her insight into current business trends has proven to be priceless. Ms. Eggebrecht has been very instrumental in helping THINC Academy move to the forefront of all College & Career Academies in Georgia.

Personally, Cindy has been a great friend to everyone who has met her. Cindy is the type of person that you can't help but like because she is genuine in everything that she says and does. It has truly been a pleasure to work with and know Cindy Eggebrecht. I would indeed consider myself and THINC Academy fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Cindy again in the future.

Loy's Office Supplies

It’s my honor to provide this letter of recommendation for Cindy as she seeks employment with your Organization.  As a Dealer for Bretford I came to know Cindy through a large furniture project we installed two years ago here in LaGrange, GA.  Cindy was the Director of Marketing for Bretford and she came down once the project was installed to scout the location for a future photoshoot.  My immediate impression was one of admiration.   Cindy is the hardest working individual I have been around in my 30 years of working in this Industry.  She demonstrated excellent communication skills and consistently followed up with Loy’s and our end user on every detail regardless of the importance.

Due to the new direction Bretford has chosen to follow it is with great sadness to see such a valuable partner go. I know that whoever gains Cindy will get the hardest working, most dedicated, and innovative employee you could imagine. Allow me to point out a few examples of Cindy’s strengths.

First, as Director of Marketing for Bretford her initial visit to Lagrange was primarily to scout a new location for a photoshoot. The location was a brand new Charter program here in Lagrange, THINC College and Career Academy. They were in their first year of operation. During her visit she sat and spoke with the CEO as well as the Principal of the School for hours. After understanding what their short term and long term goals were and how much the School meant to the Community here in LaGrange she went above and beyond. She served on their Strategic Planning Committee for over a year. She was able to add a much needed voice and direction as to helping the School identify key goals and action plans based on today’s learning environments. I know without Cindy’s involvement the School would not be where it is today. All of this was done not for financial gain for Bretford or for me as a Dealer, but because she saw a need for help and offered her experience and expertise.

Second, Cindy has a strong grasp of the changing tide in Education and the need for the Industry to help change the way our teachers teach and the way our children learn. She is at the forefront of not only helping her Organization and teammates, but the Dealers and most importantly the end users as well. Cindy is always looking to educate her staff and anyone who is willing to give her a few minutes to talk technology and how it translates to the Classroom today.  Under Cindy’s involvement here in LaGrange, not only has THINC College and Career Academy changed its way of thinking about tomorrow’s classroom, but the local Public School System has as well. They are looking at new innovative designs in classrooms with furniture, and how to bring electronic devices to the forefront. All of this was made possible thru Cindy’s involvement.

In closing, I’d like to restate my strong support for Cindy’s application within your Organization. I’m confident that she will surpass any and all expectations you may have for her in this new role. Cindy is driven, self-confident, proactively helpful and dedicated. I know she will continue to find success regardless of who hires her.  I can honestly say I am not only losing the most valuable partner I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with but I am losing a mentor and a friend. I would encourage you to visit www.thincacademy.net and see for yourself what Cindy has helped to build in our Community. Please feel free to contact me at (800) 264-5697 or cwilliams@loysoffice.com with any other questions. Thank you for your time.

Director, Convergence Design Lab

Columbia College

I am honored to write this letter in support of Cindy Eggebrecht and to recommend her for a position in communications and marketing with your company.

I first met Cindy in February of 2014 in my capacity as Director of Convergence Academies, a U.S. Department of Education funded whole school reform initiative spearheaded by Columbia College Chicago. A key component of this three year research initiative involved the design of the Digital Atelier, a technology rich space inside a high need Chicago school where students could connect with digital media mentors to gain new skills and where teachers could test out new instructional approaches centered on active learning. Upon approaching Bretford Manufacturing Inc. as a potential partner in this effort, the CEO immediately turned to Cindy, who he clearly had tremendous respect for, in order to gain her advice and judgment.

Cindy quickly saw the long-term benefits of partnering on this initiative by framing the Digital Atelier as an incubator and real-world demonstration site that could meet a number of needs for her company. The centerpiece of her approach involved qualitative and quantitative research that could demonstrate evidence of how space, technology and flexible furniture can combine to engage young people in powerful new ways of learning. It was her foresight, vision and that made the Digital Atelier research summary publication possible, a study that has contributed tremendously to the collective body of knowledge on the value of new learning environments.

Over the two years, while working in close collaboration with Cindy, I consistently witnessed up close her tremendous work ethic, her gift for relationship-building, her loyalty, her ability to communicate with people from all fields and backgrounds and her capacity to handle complex project management with precision and grace. I have rarely seen a harder worker but more than that, Cindy is a self-driven problem solver, capable of drilling down to the core issues in order to innovate original and out-of-the-box solutions. The strategies we designed around professional development for teachers, the Learning Commons and the Power of Place playbook are all compelling examples of this.

Finally, I have to say that Cindy is not only smart as a whip, but she is a pure joy to work alongside. Her enthusiasm for the work motivated all of the many people who were brought together around this initiative, inspiring us to meet the highest standards of effort and performance. As someone who leads by example and action, I recommend her without hesitation. She would undoubtedly become a tremendous asset to your company. You would be lucky to have her!

CEO

THINC College & Career Academy

I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Cynthia Eggebrecht-Weinchreider for the past two years. She has played a critical role in leading the opening and strategic planning for THINC College and Career Academy in LaGrange, GA.   THINC is a premier academy offering innovative, real-world, experiential learning in a state of the art, “Google” type facility. Cindy was instrumental in working with THINC board members to direct and implement a vision for a unique and cutting edge furniture plan to support the world-class facility and technology design. Our connection with Cindy not only exceeded our expectations with the facility, but provided much more than ever imagined from a furniture vendor. Cindy immediately led her company to pursue a business partnership with THINC, utilizing our facility as a southern regional showroom for the company.  As our relationship evolved, THINC had the opportunity to work with potential “Bretford” customers from around the United States, who in turn became valuable friends for both organizations. This is a perfect example of how Cindy operates.  She sees opportunities in every situation and makes things happen!

Cindy also played a critical role with THINC strategic planning.  Following a casual conversation about the need for a strategic planning consultant, Cindy began to connect the dots with professionals across multiple states. Within days we were meeting with national leaders who later served as consultants for our strategic planning. Of course, Cindy continued to go above the call of duty by participating and provided valuable insight several sessions held over a three month period.

Please understand, I was a Human Resources Director of 12 years, a college administrative dean for 8 years, and have served in multiple leadership roles in various private and public sector organizations. I can say without hesitation that Cindy will bring a wealth of knowledge, energy, and dedication to your company.  I am very happy to answer any questions, and look forward to hearing from you.

I have known Cindy Eggebrecht for about 8 years and know her to be an upstanding citizen, a responsible and loving parent, a respected colleague and competent employee, an active community member, and a valued friend.

I recommend her without reservations to prospective employers, business associates, investors, and everyone else to whom Cindy's character may be of relevant concern. Cindy's character was made plain to me during the 2015 school year when she found a small school in a rural area outside of Atlanta. This school purchased wonderful resources from Cindy’s company but Cindy saw that even with these amazing resources, they wouldn’t be able to achieve their goals without additional supports. Cindy reached out to her professional network and introduced us to the district so that we could offer them the support they needed to meet their goals.

Cindy is a phenomenal connector and communicator. She prioritizes customer needs and ensures they are satisfied and have a good experience with her company. She has incredible loyalty to her company, her network and her family. She would be a tremendous asset to any organization.

I will be glad to answer any questions you may have about Cindy by contacting me at keciaray@gmail.com.

Having had the opportunity to interact with Cindy for several years in the development of marketing materials for our organization I know her to be excellent at her work.  I could always rely on Cindy to provide quality designs within our required time frame and any time we needed an answer regarding materials or the products we could count on her responding quickly and accurately.   Having someone to work with that can respond to deadlines in a professional and pleasant manner is a real plus when you are the client and Cindy always came through when we needed her help.
